WATERDRIVE 4TH COMMUNICATION BRIEF
Dear WATERDRIVE FRIEND!
The need for professional advice to farmers is growing as agriculture becomes more and more competitive and complex. The landowners are in the driver’s seat in a new extraordinary mission to manage waters, biodiversity, soil and climate, not only for the good of the individual farm but also for the good of society, economics and nature. In this newsletter we highlight the “catchment officers &water advisors” for their support in the new mission. They will be incredibly important bridge-builders when in practice integrating the individual farmer advice with advice for the future of society and nature. Joint insights in agriculture, participatory processes, leadership, new services, capacity building and funding mechanisms will lead the way!
